My first two babies were born at RBH and my youngest was a homebirth. Between the three I’ve experienced induction, time in Buscot, a pandemic homebirth, all the pain relief and pain relief free so I can empathise with many of the experiences of other parents.

My day job gives me great listening skills and a natural curiosity to hear peoples’ stories. I’m also a trained breastfeeding peer supporter.

I was aware of the MNVP from my work as an NCT volunteer but it was when my second son spent time on Buscot and we spent nearly a week in hospital that I realised the importance of feedback and helping represent the views of parents.

I’ve helped create the Covid feedback survey and have been involved in listening events and I love giving parents the opportunity to share their views.
